Set amongst the rolling hills of Perthshire, The Scottish Liqueur Centre is quite literally at ‘The Gateway to the Highlands’. Completely upgraded and renovated in 2005, the visitor centre boasts a fine display of Scottish liqueurs , Scotch Whisky and other local produce. Enjoy a coffee or a pleasant lunch in our Columba Cream Café , before browsing for that special gift in our shop. The Scottish Liqueur Centre will provide a pleasant break to any long journey. We are pleased to announce that as participants of the Perth & Kinross Council Comfort Scheme our ladies and gents restrooms, along with disabled facilities, are available during opening hours. (Monday to Saturday 10am - 5pm, 12.30pm - 5pm Sunday)
Within the Visitor Centre you will also find our Tasting Room. Here we give you the opportunity to sample all of our truly delicious liqueurs and whiskies . Our team of experienced staff will assist you through your tasting and will be happy to answer any questions you have about the products. We aim to make your time spent here an informative and enjoyable experience.
As you enter the visitor centre, take a look at the plaque above the door. Here you will find an excerpt from a poem by James Hogg (The Ettrick Shepherd). Hogg was a prolific Scottish writer in both verse and prose. And going by what's written on the plaque, Hogg appreciated whisky then just as much then as people do today. Uisge beatha - the water of life.
